Date of completion: 30.11.2021

This report is a product of the partnership between INERELA+ Kenya and UNESCO with the objective To empower Religious leaders, School chaplains, Parents and teachers on SRHR support, to address Adolescents and Young People (AYPs) challenges through congregational response in congregations and learning institutions.

The initiative was conducted via the online (zoom) platform and google meet. The religious leaders were taken through a series of these virtual training sessions and from these sessions, they were able to appreciate their increasingly important role to provide guidance and counseling as well as to provide congregational safe spaces to the adolescents and young people, especially on matters revolving around sexual and reproductive health rights.
